By the end of this course, students will have a basic understanding of what a zine is as well as how to create one; at the end of the course, they will have at least one completed zine! No experience is required, because everyone has something important to say – this class will give you one medium to say it with 🙂
Materials Fee: $20 payable via cash or check on the first day of class

Teacher Bio: Sarah Maloney
Sarah Maloney is a queer visual artist and storyteller. She graduated WWU with a B.A. in English Literature and then taught abroad while simultaneously working on her first graphic novel (We All Fall Down). Since then, Sarah has self published multiple comics and zines. She is excited to share what she has learned and help turn your ideas into something tangible!
